At Jump Dancewear are fully committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and under the GDPR legislation which came into force across Europe on 25th May 2018.
We obtain your private information for just two reasons. Firstly, to process your order requested and submitted by you the customer and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service in providing you with high quality dancewear.
Once your order is dispatched and complete, we will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent to do so. You will always have the option to opt out of any marketing emails from us.
We are required under legislation to inform you that personal data for which we are the Controller held by Jump Dancewear on our ordering computer system is limited to the following as provided by you the customer:
- Your full name, or your initials and surname.
- Your contact address.
- Your contact telephone number, including if applicable, your extension.
- Your e-mail address.
- If applicable, your mobile telephone number.
- If applicable, the account number(s) by which we conduct business.
This information is held in an electronic ordering system on our main admin server which only authorised Jump Dancewear personal have access to.
The computers and accounts software are also protected by individual account user names & passwords and has Anti-virus software and firewall protection is installed and kept up to date with the latest software releases.
The purpose of Jump Dancewear, holding this data provided by you the customer is solely to facilitate efficient contact with you for the purpose of conducting the required business service or providing you with services or information you have requested.
Your data is protected and we will never sell this information to a 3rd party.
Under the terms of the new GPDR legislation this use of this data is considered lawful Under Article 6 b.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your express consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You are free and welcome to check the information that we hold about you by emailing/phoning us.
If you find any inaccuracies please let us know and we will correct it immediately, or delete it altogether. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.
We will never pass on any of your information to 3rd parties.
